Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process when you use Dub Control or our website, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is MIA LABORATORIES OE (Γ.Ε.ΜΗ. 145261908000, EUID ELGEMI.145261908000, VAT 800934056), Galinis 8, Neo Irakleio, 14122, Athens, Greece. For any privacy matter, contact support@dubcontrol.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Dub Control desktop application, its licensing and activation, and the website at dubcontrol.com. Payment is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record; for payment data, Paddle acts as an independent controller under its own privacy notice (see section 5).

3. What we collect

The Software does not collect the audio you play, your music files, or the contents of your sessions.

5. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We share data only with service providers who help us run Dub Control, under appropriate data-processing terms. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

7. How long we keep it

We keep purchase and licence records for as long as your Licence is active and for the periods required by tax and accounting law (generally several years under Greek law). Validation records are retained only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. Inactive licence/validation data is removed in line with our providers’ retention cycles. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your query.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email support@dubcontrol.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα, dpa.gr) or your local supervisory authority.

9. Cookies & analytics

The Dub Control website is a static site. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. When you proceed to purchase, our payment provider Paddle loads its secure checkout, which uses cookies that are strictly necessary to process your payment and prevent fraud. Because we use only essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

10. Children

Dub Control is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at dubcontrol.com, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
